N, appears YOU are the one brining Mack into every discussion. Your agape for him is becoming quite predictable.

Isn't he getting ridiculous?

NO but the two of you ganging up on Mr N is rediculous. Mr N didn't say anything that was not true.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Holy sh*t! DePaul only had 42,000 fans actually in the house in the last 3 years total! Doing some quick math, that's less than 1,000 per home game! Geez, that's awful.

"The report by Crain’s Chicago Business said the economic impact projections of the new arena were flawed based on the last three years of DePaul attendance at Allstate Arena, which totaled 42,000 actual fans instead of the 127,000 ‘‘tickets sold’’ reported by the school."

I've been to some of their games at the Horizon or Allstate arena. It is sad. Each fan could have a row to themselves. However, Great for Chicago X fans. We can all get good seats. The "Back Mack" could sit on one side of the court and the "Attack Mack" could have the other side.

An interesting point in the DePaul stadium saga from their Scout.com site----

Wasn't the United Center offering DePaul free rent to play their games there?

Yes and no. The United Center did offer DePaul University free rent. However, Jerry Reinsdorf and Rocky Wirtz are shrewd businessmen. Instead of charging DePaul rent, their plan was to charge operating costs. These operating costs were found to be even more costly than what DePaul pays the village of Rosemont for Allstate Arena today. So, one needs to understand that there was nothing “free” about their offer to DePaul.

They have been systematically working on that for years, ever since the Ray Meyers days.
