Sometimes we need to remember, other than the very high end guys we recruit, college players often require maturity and development. That’s why they get 4 years and not one season or 1.5 seasons.

I’ve always loved Xavier because of these type of guys. The players I appreciate most are the bj Raymonds, James farrs, Justin cages, Sean Omaras. Guys that may not dazzle as freshman but work their butts off and become players we’ll never forget.

And that my friends is the XAVIER way!

I think he plays like a long defender like Castlin and a shooter like Welage. At end of some games Steele has had an offense/Defense with Castlin and Welage but Hardin (who I think is not as good at D as Castlin and not as good as O as Welage) helps a little with continuity and since he was here last year seems to have more chemistry with the returnees. Over the next few games we will need the best from everybody and Castlin and Welage will be needed but for now Harden may be a better overall fit, and I LOVE what Castlin and Welage have provided as we would have probably 4 less wins without their contribution so far.

So now, after waiting all this time to blossom, Harden screws up and get's himself suspended from the team INDEFINITELY. Yay us...! Anyone know the scoop behind the scenes as this is just the worst possible timing for a team needing to win out. ???
