Richmond winning the A-10 is the final nail in our coffin.Anti-Homer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:36 pmYup, The tourney committee will tell X to go get their shine box.oldhoopster wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 2:18 pmI’m thinking that wins by IU and A&M have sealed our fate. Change the Mascot name to MUSKETEARS. Turndown the invitation to the NIT if there is one & immediately fire Steele & start a search for an experienced head coach. I was always in hope of a Final Four now just to hear our name on Selection Sunday is a dream- wonder how long it will take?

Bubble burst with the loss to Butler. Today just makes it official. I think the powers to be need to ask themselves what the chose when they entered the Beg East. If Florida cuts loose a coach of 7 years who made the dance 4 times and would have been five, and in each of those trips won at least one game, surely X should be cutting ties with Steele. If it’s about FIL’s money, then maybe we should go back to the A10 and not try and compete with these higher level teams. He’s had his chances and failed them. Someone elses turn now.
