Memphis game thread 1st half

might as well get it upbefore I forget. Big night tonight for the boys. Two teams that like to play D.

This will be a sticky till half time.

Good show, MM. I was just going to do it myself.
Got back from Padre Island and ate a early dinner so I'm anxious to get this game going.
Even have both Murphy's and Boddington's in the fridge.
Let the game begin.

Before the season, we speculated how good this team could be and many thought if we got to the championship game of this tourney that would be great, some said we needed to win the first day just so we could play the upper tier of this tourney. I'd say the guys have done us proud and a win tonight will just put the first two games in a proper perspective.

Sean has had these guys completely for 5 or so days and I am sure he is proud of their progress....now will that mean there will not be a down game that is hard to say because they seem to have a bit o luck on their side so far.


GUYS let's take this Memphis team and add it to the great history of Xavier wins.

Looks like the X players will be going up against the largest team they have played in years. Lark said one of the guards of Memphis has a wingspan over 7 foot. Their smallest player tat plays is 6'2".

They do not have a good percentage from the 3's

Brown got two quick fouls. The guys are hangin in there. I thought the same thing Shadow but I doubt there was much to it considering it has not been mentioned on the radio.

X is getting into foul trouble...Lark is upset with refs. He is even saying at least at times the refs are crappy on both sides o the court.
