Today, Nov. 11, 2008, I spent a very sobering day in San Antonio TX attending the Segs4Vets event in front of the Alamo. On this day, 47 disable veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq were presented a Segway to serve as a mobility device to assist them in what most call normal events. This young men and women have given more to this county than most and I would ask my fellow Musketeers to visit the web site, http://www.Segs4Vets.com for further information on this charitable group that helps these service personnel.
If you should ever need a charity for which to contribute funds, please keep this organization in mind. On this Veterans Day you would be hard pressed to find a more deserving group.
