Is all that kept us, with all our talent, from being swept by DePaul

“With all of the talent” is an unwarranted assumption.
If performance & results are not delivered, maybe the supposed talent is not really so great after all.
The presence of talent is proven on the court, not on paper or in the cyber world.
Isn’t that the reason why the games are played?

Winning is not the result of talent but losing does not prove lack of talent. Winning simply requires 1 team to outplay the other. A less talented team can easily beat a more talented team with the right strategy, effort and execution. Or because the talented team has the wrong strategy, insufficient effort or fails to execute.

Xavier has talent, not because of player rankings but because of what they are capable of. They need better leadership. Need better strategy and they certainly need to bring consistent effort. Execution will largely fall into place with the right strategy.
