OT: Extortion, kick backs, skimming by MLB......

A story just released Monday night (August 4th)claims several people/employees of baseball have been taking/demanding kick backs and monies from Dominican Republic baseball players to sign them and get them placed and get them signing bonuses. Four teams are named including the Yankees and Red Soxs. Several individual names mentioned so far...some already fired from MLB teams ,some not yet fired. Wow, more corruption in baseball ...lol...who would have thought it. (PS unrelated..a new book out states that the White House ordered the CIA to counterfeit documents tying Saddam to the terrorists......corruption,corruption,corruption..it just never ends)

I think pretty much all sports claim to have integrity, so baseball's no different.

Most professions do, for that matter, but all professions are manned by people, which means there will always be imperfections. Lawyers, journalists, doctors, plumbers, policeman, roofers-there's good and bad in all.
