Re: What happened to Jason Kokrak on that last hole
What can we say? He is certainly , today, one of the top 50 golfers in the world and or the PGA based on his overall rankings and always in the top 75. Right now he is among the top 35 based on the Fed X point rankings. He has made over $11 million career earnings. This year he has entered/played in 13 PGA tournaments and made the cut for the week end 13 times(thus he is 13 for 13 on cashing). He is on track to make over $2 million this year alone. In other words, he is pretty good on cashing and rank. However, he has NEVER won a PGA tournament at the top level against the best of the best. He has a few second place finishes, but never wins it all at the top level. So far, he has not put together 4 good to great rounds to win a PGA tournament at the top level. Only takes screwing up on a few holes to drop way down..ie a triple bogey as of yesterday on the 18th hole of the last round...or just too many bogeys period.

FYI check out the best player in the world Dustin Johnson's back nine yesterday. He had the lead at the turn then went bogie, bogie, double bogie, double bogie....ended up 28th. It's a crazy sport. But your correct it cost Jason a bunch of bucks......I'll get to see him play this week in New Orleans. He has not been here in like 5 years. He's having a helluva year.
