I’m sure we are referring to DW. Seems like it would be very hard for Travis to have David as an assistant during rebuilding. As soon as we don’t have a good record everyone would want DW to become head coach. I would like West as an assistant but would Travis???

There are probably 100 retired players comparable in career achievements for every CM, PE, MR, & DM, who didn't decide to coach in college. Also, PE & CM became HCs right away. I don't know the path of MR or DM. I don't see DW becoming a college coach. The most I think we can hope for is that he works out with our young bigs on occasion.

David West had a much more productive NBA career than Manning especially if you consider Danny Manning was the first overall pick in the draft. Thanks for the knowledge Pierre.
