RADIO SHOW
At the Musketeer Club function last night, someone said Mack was doing a radio show. When does Chris Mack radio show start? What radio station, location?

Re: RADIO SHOW
I heard it announced on WLW earlier this week that first radio show was this past Wednesday on 1530. Sadly, I forgot to tune in.

Re: RADIO SHOW
I stumbled upon a video clip of this and watched about 40 minutes of it. Brad Redford added some upbeat energy to the presentation. He seemed to be able to playfully jab at Mack here & there which was entertaining. As for substance, not much, as Mack was his typical self in staying mostly vanilla. When asked about the lofty pre-season rankings, he did perk up though. Chris stated in earnest that we are no where near a top 10 club right now - that this was a by product of last year's results. Mack said he felt they were more of a top 20 to 30 team currently with upside. He lamented the lack of depth to even practice and revealed just a day prior they had to curtail a scrimmage when Rashid tweaked his ankle making a nice block on Goodin. He was asked about Gates and Myles Davis returning. He praised Gates offseason efforts stating they hoped he was back full speed by Thanksgiving. Mack refused to even comment on Davis stating that, "Myles is currently not a member of our team". He stated that Bernard, Goodin and Sumner are super quick, and along with Gates should give us impressive length and speed. Once again, his biggest concern now is depth and the difficulty in even scrimmaging effectively. Hopefully we all catch the next show live!

Re: RADIO SHOW
Have to agree with Mack especially about depth. Not having Davis and Gates is going to sting. Difficult to rely on freshmen and Bernard has been pretty average according to sources. If we can go 8 and 3 til they get back we will be solid

Re: RADIO SHOW
agree 'Hops. Regarding Bernard, to be honest, I am fine with "average". This is the very first update I have even heard regarding Bernard so thanks. Given his late addition, and the fact that we all initially thought he would just be an 8 to 10 minute max sub to help with rotational rest and foul trouble, it is unfair to now expect him to save the day. I will be thrilled if he can perform at an "avg: level on this high level / Big East stage. Just think of how much stronger both he and Goodin & Jones will be later this year with benefitting from these unexpected increased minutes these first few weeks of the season... Could be a roller coaster year where we start out ranked high, fall off a bit early on, then climb back to top 15 come Feb... Only thing that really matters is how we are jelling as the dance approaches.
