Here is the rundown, not sure with it being another site if I can paste...

AK was not sure if they would go the asst. way, even though Crean was a asst. So not going with Groce. He feels that the job is better than it was 9 years ago and they can get someone with head coach exp. Said he talked to Tony Bennett and he was not interested. Thought Miller would not be interested. Brad Brownell could be the guy as he was next for IU most likely. Really seemed to think would have been Horn if he had not jumped at South Carolina.

We'll see if they go with a John Groce and go the way of an assistant. I know they hired an assistant before in Tom Crean but you could argue that Crean elevated the job to where it is now a head coach's job. I don't see Miller going from Xavier to Marquette. Tony B told me he didn't want to pursue Marquette. Brad Brownell was next at IU so maybe he could be on the hopper at MQ. The Eagles have a new AD and someone who hasn't made this kind of hire before.
