That's tickets sold, not bodies in the seats. I've seen that number used after quite a few DePaul games when the actual crowd could have easily fit in Schmidt.

Do some of your legendary investigative journalism and expose this fraud! I'm guessing Mack will be found to have something to do with DePaul's announced attendance numbers.

N, appears YOU are the one brining Mack into every discussion. Your agape for him is becoming quite predictable.Mr. Neutral wrote:Do some of your legendary investigative journalism and expose this fraud! Oh, Jesse, you need to pay closer attention. Every world problem and societal ill is laid at Mack's feet by skyhops, madness31 and woodslives. As they absolutely, positively refuse to put up anything other than "it's Mack's fault" posts, the least I can do is oblige our maniacal trio.

The publicly supported arena, which is expected to book corporate and convention assemblies, concerts, and civic and school events, is likely to be the most controversial part of the plan.

This was always about DePaul trying to cut corners financially---
``We couldn’t have done this without a partner,’’ DePaul University President, the Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider said Thursday. ``We had offers of many locations around the city, and a couple of them would have been wonderful.
``But the problem was more than location, we needed a partner. Otherwise we would have had to pay for the whole thing, for a building we didn’t need the whole time. I would have had to saddle students with tuition [increases] for a lot of years.’’

WTF? Doesn't DePuke have any fat cat donors? If they don't, what are they doing in the Big East? THEY should go to the Horizon League.Mr. Neutral wrote:This was always about DePaul trying to cut corners financially---

Xavier, St. Louis and Gonzaga all figured out how to do it. Why can't DePuke?
