This is my last comment on this thread, then I'm through with it. My point is a player leaving for the NBA is almost always a good thing. It means we probably made a deep run, or a good year with plenty of national exposure. That only bodes well for future seasons. With Brown last year, we would have been an elite team, but if he was not the player he was his Sophomore and Junior years (that made him available to go to the NBA) then we most likely would not have gone to the elite 8 and sweet 16 in those years. Oftentimes a player leaves for the NBA on an immature decision (Manny Harris, Charles Garcia this year are two that come to mind), but I don't think we have to worry about that at X. Brown and Crawford had chances to be first round picks and after weighing their options, made what they believed was the right decision.
