My good friends on this board. Thank you so much for all the prayers and good wishes. Joanne got through more than 7 hours of surgery Friday and both her doctors say she did extremely well and there was no lymph-node involvement so no lymph adema. She was in abject misery when she sent me home tonight, but she has that little pain-go-away button in her right hand and knows how to use it--and does.
Thank you again. It's been one wild season for me and mine and things are looking decidedly up thanks to all of you and your prayers.
Oh, and Kevin has given me full sway over the angel family and Jo got three of them today. Kevin will call her tomorrow and that will do more for her physically and mentally than any drug.
Again, I'm in your debt and very grateful. As I said before, this is what the Xavier Nation is all about. This is what makes our alma mater so very special, and it is a reason why Xavier is unique.
