believe we lost Gates and Kanter, which hurts, and also that SHU guy Sterling Gibbs. Added CJ, Locke, and Criswell (unless they were already on but i hadn't seen their names yet)

There's a pre-game party at the Varsity Club up in Cbus before the game on Saturday. no tickets needed or anything it's just where a lot of XU Alum are gathering beforehand.

Malcolm Bernard is playing for Mid Am Unity (#16 seed in Cbus)

he would have been a nice addition.

that dude was THE X FACTOR in the season we went to Elite 8. all the injuries and up/downs/etc that team had, he was the CONSTANT. we don't get to that Elite 8 without him.

team had a couple practices yesterday in the AUX gym at Cintas.

scrimmaging Team 100 this afternoon (no idea what time). closed to ALL per NCAA rules (DUMB!)

Gates was advised by agent with NBA summer league starting soon to not play. Kanter had Visa issues which is why he couldn't participate.

expect team to play 4 guards (TB at the 4 a lot) and play fast. hopefully have enough in the tank to wear teams down with their style.

BJ Raymond did participate in practice yesterday. not sure if he's a late roster addition or not.

Could be wrong, but believe I saw where ESPN2 is televising our 1st gm. This Sat eve at 8pm. Can anyone confirm? as that would be sooooo cool.

Have some extra vacation time due to COVID. Perfect to spend a Sat thru Tues in Columbus and to follow the alumni team! My ideal Christmas in July. Hope to see some of you make the trip. Go X!
