Butler Game thread 02/06/2018

That game was fun. The team showed grit to win that game. I'll be honest and thought we were going to lose the game, once Butler took the lead in the second half and again when the game went to overtime.

Regardless on what seed we are in March, I am confident this team can make a deep run mainly due to the fact that they have a heck of a lot of experience in close games.

As much as anything else, the ability to be able to play Scruggs and Marshall extended minutes will improve their defense immensely. Teams will find it harder to create mismatches. I think Brunson is going to see a lot of Marshall at Cintas.

I tink we see Naji and Scruggs might get some turn at Brunson. Naji might get to work on Bridges. Right now St John's is up on nova by 3 with 5 minutes left in 1st

I sure hope Mack has a few ideas around how to play Nova differently than we have it the past. I personally would like to see us play them a little more physically and try to slow em down a bit........we have way more depth. We cant let them play their normal game and kill us with 3's .
