I find it unnecessary to bash Thad but I also find it very unnecassary to bash Sean just to say see Sean did this and thad did this...after all Sean is our man now. Isn't it time we stand with Sean? Thad is old news.

Re: Watching OSU vs. IU
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Watching OSU vs. IU
OSU is underachieving. They have talent but lack confidence. Thad did well at XU but I'd rather have Sean. I've said before that Sean out coached Thad in the tourney game last year and still believe it. Yes he could have fouled to prevent the tieing 3 but there was also a defensive breakdown with a freshman playing D inside the 3 point line rather then defending the arc. More importantly however is that Thad never found a solution for Oden's inability to guard anyone on Xavier's team. If he could figure out a defensive strategy with Oden he should have pulled him. It was easily knowable that Oden would be a defensive liability so Thad should have had a gameplan. It may have been momentum that enable OSU to run away with it in OT or could have been exhaustion by X but I'd say Oden's absense was also key.
OSU still has a shot at the tourney if they can win 2 of their last 3 and a game or 2 in the big 10 tourney. The at-large situation will also play a factor but OSU is not done yet.

Matta has recruited well but he forgot to fill the pg spot. He probably expected Conley to stay 2yrs. The thread started with comments regarding a lack of offensive flow. insert Conley or Lavender in the lineup and it's a whole new ball game.
I believe Noopy Crater heads to Columbus next year to fill the pg role. expect to see the Bucks back in the Big Ten hunt.

<Actually, Wise, Oden, Conley and Cook made their OWN choice to go pro, but, hey, why let the facts get in the way?>
YEP .. that trio sure fooled everybody by making their own choice to go pro. Bet it just shocked the bejesus out of whatshisname that they made that choice. And I am sure that trio would have choosen osu if David Stern had not instituted the no high school to the NBA rule. Right!
So, now your spin is that 'ol whatshisname took the three with no idea they would leave after one season.
And I love the part where he enhanced the osu graduation rate by giving scholarships to those three who will never have a degree ...
