He was on Dan Patrick show yesterday. Not that he was excusing the kid's behavior, but he acted like it was a mistake and all kids make mistakes.Ok I'll grant you that but there are different levels of mistakes.Kicking people 3 times is beyond a simple mistake.I guess he's got his player's backs which is great but he acted as though no one really has the right to call the kid out.Very condescending overall.Shadow wrote:In light of the way he handled the Grayson Allen situation I have absolutely no respect tor Coach K(rap).

Re: Would You?
Way back when there was a question whether or not Xavier would hire Chris Mack as men's basketball coach, I had a conversation with a high Xavier executive. I had been doing a lot of reading and research about Notre Dame's famed football coach, Knute Rockne
for a writing project. Rockne, of course, was the man who put Notre Dame on the map as a football power. He had in 1918 become the first ND coach who had been a graduate, and a player for the school. Thus he had a special feeling for Notre Dame. I fully agree with Kyzrex's commentary. The other coaches mentioned saw Xavier as a job, and moved on as soon as the right moment presented itself.
Rockne saw his job as a cause. His heart was in it.
So I said to the high Xavier executive, "You should hire Chris Mack. He could be our Knute Rockne."
The high Xavier executive just looked at me. A look that said "What the heck are you talking about?"
I didn't bother to explain. He walked off, and so did I.
I have never met Chris Mack. I know him now only from what I see on TV. I believe he is our Knute Rockne.
