Good post 87. However, I would say that it is "Along Came Jones" and not "Basketball Jones" you older guys and gals will know what I am talking about.
I fully support getting Myles back as soon as possible.

Re: Thoughts
Our inside play has dropped off dramatically from last year. That's my biggest concern with this team. It's early so no worries yet. They just need to finish better around the basket and hit a better percent from the line.Saturday exposed some of these issues.Great on the offensive boards but still only 18 points in the paint.Right now if I'm the oppostition,I play hack a Shaq until they start hitting the free throws.Adding Myles back in would help if someone has an off night shooting like JP did Saturday. For what it's worth,Myles still has a spot in the locker room.

Re: Thoughts
Here's my take. No doubt that our inside performance is not yet up to par. Not too concerned though as I think our bigs will improve during conference play. The Baylor game would have been much more competitive if we stopped shooting ourselves in the foot. Missed layups and a poor performance at the line really cost us. Once the confidence was out the door, and with TB out - the team started to freak. They played scared.
I love Ed's game and his ability to get to the rim. However, IMHO he would be much more lethal if he had a consistent outside shot. Each time he drives to the bucket there comes a "what if moment" where control goes out the door and the circus move comes into play. How about a pull up jumper?
And Myles. I just fail to believe that Myles is going to rejoin the team and lead us to the promised land. I think people forget that Myles hasn't even been with the team in quite some time. He has not played with some of the new guys. Not a team meeting, nothing. How you can expect anyone to come back from such and absence and be competitive? I just don't see it... X has to give QG more playing time to relieve the big three.
