Greg Anthony should stick to analyzing the NBA. He's clearly out of touch with college basketball. That and the guy says "eggs-avier". He initially picks WVU over X and then debates whether or not XU can beat UCLA after Jarvis picks the Muskies to go to the Final Four. What happened to the Mountaineers Greg??

Mike Jarvis, while picking the Muskies for the Final Four, should know that we aren't "eggs-avier", but he flip flops a couple times during this piece. Maybe he always called us "eggs-avier" when he was in the A-10, but I don't recall.

I just don't get the whole "eggs-avier" thing. I mean when you're sitting there and you hear a host pronounce it correctly why would you continue to pronounce it "eggs". Just plain dumb?? You don't pronounce Xylophone "eggs-ylophone"..... copiers aren't called "eggs-erox machines". The mispronunciation never ceases to chap my ass.

Yeah i saw that earlier today as well. At least jarvis gave us some credit although i couldn't tell if he was saying Xavier or eggs avier half the time. After years and years of being in the tourny and being the top team in the A10 year after year you would think the experts would know what their talking about, hence the term expert. This really bothers me as well which is why i really hope we make the final four, maybe we will actually get some proper recognition for a change.

maybe Xavier should change the spelling to Z-A-V-I-E-R for the ignorant broadcasters of college basketball. Xavier had been around long enough for the "challenged" to pronounce it correctly... Dan

I saw this also and totally agree with broadripple.

I that it was funny that Anthony seemed to change his pick to what Jarvis said. It's almost like Jarvis' argument was so sound and made so much sense that he changed his mind; lol.

That "eggs" thing really anoyed me also, especially because the host said it correctly also.

It's good to see someone is giving X some "love"...and at the very least mentioning that we are still playing in the tourney.
