Practice Today
I checked out the Muskies at the Verizon Center today. They didn't do anything full speed, mostly just shooting drills and free throw shooting, but the shots were definitely falling. They looked loose and relaxed and I think they're ready for business. Stanley looked especially loose and I think he shot about 90 percent from all around the floor with something like 8 or 9 straight made threes. Obviously it's just warm-ups but hopefully that touch will carry over to tommorow. At the end of their time slot they were heaving up half court shots for fun and Duncan swished his on one attempt which was pretty cool. I had about three people ask me which one Drew Lavender was because that was the only one they had heard of. I think that will change this week. This team seems ready to play to me and I expect us to come out firing. We will see soon enough... GO X!

Re: Practice Today
BJ looked like his normal self. It's hard to read too much into it since it was more of a shootaround than a full-speed practice, but BJ was hitting his free throws and was solid from behind the arch. He didn't take a ton of shots in Atlantic City and clearly didn't provide a lot of offense, but he's a key component to our O and I expect to see a few threes hit by BJ tommorow.
