I take a look at the XavierHoops board periodically, though I'm still banned from there, and the unrest is popping up there, too. It's the same all over, guys.

I don't want any poster to leave the board, so do what I did, and just put certain posters on your "ignore" list and enjoy the rest. Kind of like pushing aside the vegetables to enjoy the steak.

As soon as I post this message, I will begin blocking the negative Nellie's who waste my time. I too enjoy reading some "inside" stories that are not available from other sources. I can't stand the useless and constant carping about the coach or the players. Since one of my least favorite posters has quoted Jack Nichleson's famous "You can't handle the truth" quote, I will sign off with one of my favorite movie quotes.

Coach Norman Dale (Gene Hackman), in one the best sports movies of all time, Hoosiers: "I would hope you would support who we are. Not, who we are not. These six individuals have made a choice to work, a choice to sacrifice, to put themselves on the line 23 nights for the next 4 months, to represent you, this high school. That kind of commitment and effort deserves and demands your respect. This is your team."

That would be appropo if we were all supporting some hillbilly high school team, not a million dollar money maker that our NCAA division 1 alma mater has become.
