The best Butler can do is a 5 seed.
IU could fall down to a 6 seed, in large part due to a poor conf. road performance.
Purdue could top out at a 3 seed if they win the B10 tourney.
Ill. State is a very iffy choice, and not just because of yesterday's pasting by Drake.
ND is in the 3-5 seed range, depending on what they do in the BE tourney.
Palm doesn't see W.Ky, UAB, or Houston with any chance. Possibly VCU.
Memphis, Tenn, NC, UCLA are his #1's.
He called Air Force in '06 at the "least deserving team to ever get a bid".
Fla. & Md. are out without a major run in their conf. tourneys.
Of the 4 Indiana teams likely to ge bids, he picks Purdue to go the farthest, based on how they're playing right now.
No questions about any Ohio teams.

Chemotherapy patients should be smoking what Palm is smoking. Purdue as a 3 seed?? WTF?? No way, no how!! I don't care if they win the Big Ten tourney, no way they are a 3 seed. I'm sorry, but it's pretty easy to name 12 teams more deserving of a higher seed than Purdue.

You might be right, but Lunardi's got Purdue as a #4 seed as of today, so they could certainly slide up one spot by winning the B10 tourney. Or not.

If UAB, Houston or Illinois State get in ahead of a third A-10 team, that's a joke.

Palm and Lunardi are ususally pretty acurate.I just hope he never needs any air support after the comments about the Air Force.
