Look who's back in the hunt after being left for dead

(1) UK, which is now 18-11, has won 11 of its last 13, and whose RPI will go up from its current #52 with today's win over Florida.

(2) OSU, which has beaten #15 Purdue and #17 Michigan State this week, is now 19-12, and has an RPI of #48 with and SOS at #19. 8 of its 12 losses were by 7 pts. or less.

At this point, I'd say UK is in while OSU still has some work to do in the B10 tourney.

I know there's a couple guys on here (wise etc.) who say Thad can't coach. Well they are dead wrong. Even though I hate OSU they lost three guys to the NBA and two others are playing overseas. Like Miller they both have there teams playing there best in March.

UK is now #49 in the RPI with an SOS of #11, so both the Buckeyes and the 'Cats are right there, probably slight more so for Kentucky.

I'm guessing that realx was referring to the regular season games in Feb/March, and our winning the A-10 two years ago. In the other two years, Sean's teams have lost in their 2nd game in the A10 tourney.

In the NCAA, you've got a good 32 minutes against Gonzaga, a good game against BYU, and a good 36 minutes against OSU. If only games were shorter......

Hey real .... I have never, ever, nada said that whatshisname couldn't coach!
Now, Mr Neutral (?) will take things I write, and then spin them in some sick way to make other think I said that.

I have said that he is a liar and has no ethics. And I have said repeatedly that I would much prefer Sean Miller (or Skip or Pete) to him any day or minute of the week.

Also, I said that head-to-head, Sean is much the better coach.


Now Mr Neutral (?) is in this thread already pointing out any and all shortcomings he can think of about Sean!

Whatshisname's "loss" of three players to the NBA was his decision. That is the way he prefered to build his program, so it cannot be used as an excuse. BTW, it just another three oSU recruits who will never graduate ... and after this season, whatshisname's fourth class, he will have ONE graduate!

Thad is a good coach but if Xavier had a 19-12 record with the talent that OSU has you guys would want blood and the coaches head. I mean they have like 3 mcdonalds all americans, a senior point guard who was a top 40 player and about 6 or 7 other top 75 players on the roster. Having a .500 record in the big 10 this year with that talent is very poor in my opinion and they do not deserve to go to the NCAA regardless of the fact they beat Purdue and Mich St. at home this week. They lost 4 straight prior to the last 2 home games and lost by 14 to Minnesota 1 week ago. If they get in without winning the Big 10 tourney then the process is a joke.

Wrong, as usual, Wise. Another poster brought up Miller, not me, and then a 2nd poster responded to that poster. I pointed out absolute, uncontested facts about Miller's March/postseason record, no more, no less.
