Hello Fans,
Long time listener, first time poster.
I'm traveling to NC for work next week, and have an "appointment" in Charlotte on 2/13. While watching the St. Louis game last night, I started wondering how people get tickets behind the Xavier bench for away games. If anyone has information on this or has a connection to such tickets, I'd be extremely grateful.
Also, if anyone on the board plans to be at the Charlotte game on Wednesday and wants to meet up to talk X-ball over a few beers, that would be great!
Thanks!

I will be at the game, but I am coming down from Raleigh. Not sure where our tickets are but they are supposed to be by some other X fans. Can't wait to see the game!

Those are either player tickets or big time booster tickets. That is at least how it works at Cintas from what I understand.

Re: Xavier @ Charlotte - Tix behind bench?
Was at this game two years ago in Charlotte. The tickets they gave X fans were way up high in an endzone, very similar to the endzone seats in the Gardens. But, we were able to sneak down into much better seats in the lower bowl and eventually worked our way all the way down behind Xavier's bench. Not sure who's seats they were, but they didn't show so we made sure that proper fans made use of them. So, keep an eye out if Charlotte sticks you guys with crappy seats.

The tickets behind the bench are the "team" tickets. These are usually given out to players family or boosters that are traveling in the team travel party. They are usually not available for purchase. In some arena's these seats are great, in others they are tough. At Fordham last year, we sat on the 1st row of the bleachers behind the team and couldnt see at all. Most places they are excellent seats.

Having been to Halton Arena to see the last XU charlotte game I would say that pretty much any seat there is a good seat. They have a very nice, first class arena with great sightlines and, considering the capacity, the seats are all very close to the floor. Again, another A-10 arena that puts udump arena to shame.

Re: Xavier @ Charlotte - Tix behind bench?
Back in 2004 I was in Richmond for the Xavier game. Walking to the arena some guy asked if I was a Xavier fan and if I needed a ticket to the game. Turns out the guy was a buddy of "Beak nose" (former teammate I believe in college). The tickets were at "Will Call' for friends and family. The seats in Richmond were excellent (right behind the bench). I was also sitting next to Lionel Chambers high school buddy who wanted to buy some pizza his old friend. I was thinking there could be an angle for some available seating behind the team at away games for those friends and family who could not make the game....
