Re: Redford
Reviewing the video, it is interesting to the extent that the young man can and will shoot from anywhere. I suppose Byron Larkin will love him. I too thought it was some kind of league and all-star situation, because there sure wasn’t much defense being played. It reminds me of the Kenny Freese videos to the extent that one really can’t tell much but it is fun to look at.

Re: Redford
Redford is the real deal. What he may lack in athleticism is made up for in skill. He's not just a shooter.

Re: Redford
Mickey Mantle was from Commerce, Oklahoma. The hick from French Lick? does that ring a bell.
The kid being a player has nothing to do with were he went to HS.
Class B describes the school size. it's apparently the 2nd largest class, and they are undefeated and ranked #4, with an entire offense built around him, and all defenses focused on him.....he he STILL pours in 38 a game.
this kid is a skilled scorer. He doesn't use quickness to get his points, so the fact that he might not be the quickest player is insignificant.
I love the idea of a sniper. A guy that cannot be left alone. He'll play that role mostly as a underclassman, then will evolve into a closeout player that nails his FTs.
I REALLY like what I see. that release is crazy.
