Now we will listen to Sean tell us how good Marquette is and how much respect he has for Shaka. On the other hand his team which he recruited stinks. We need to get much better but I think he his leaving. The only thing that keeps him at X is loyalty. I hope he respects that but in today’s world forgetta about it

Very few positives. I will say Claude hustled and played defense like he was a All Big East player the last 5 minutes. Good offensive games for Green, Nzeh and Swain. All three need to improve on defense. We had better pick it up before Georgetown and DePaul

I agree not sure we can beat gGeorgetown at GT with this kind of poor play. Depaul don’t even go there that would be a if we lost

watching the first half yesterday - it's so clear how unskilled/soft our bigs really are. and no one else could finish around the rim yesterday either. what did we miss, 15 layups? not saying we are going to make every single time we get to the rim but maybe if we make even SIX of those the game has a different feel/complexion. geez, we were only down 8 at half after all that and then we score first to cut it to 6.....then the next 5 minutes happened and the game was over. it's just so apparent how much more offensively skilled the other teams are than us. we don't have shooters other than Q and Tre. if Des isn't finishing or hitting his mid-range - and he wasn't yesterday - then he's useless on offense. worst game he's played as a Muskie, for sure. but people who want to blame him yesterday are delusional. he's only a sophomore. if he makes a leap from year 2-3 like he did from 1-2 then we will all be happy. he needs pieces around him, though. especially at the 4 and 5 position. Nunge wasn't an "unreal" 5, but his skill set is one that NONE of our bigs have.

i'm guessing this team doesn't even want to play in the NIT, unless Q really wants to, maybe they do it for him. i'd go to war that dude as well. he's one of the most likable Muskies to ever put on the uniform. but Sean may just want to start hitting the portal for next season so i'm guessing no post season for this team at all.

these dudes play hard, for the most part. they're just not that talented. with a healthy Freemantle and Hunter this team is easily top 4 in the BE.

it used to be a Xavier team that played better at the end of the season than at the beginning. We knew Offense ould be a probably but not a killing problem.
This team has really regressed the last 2 weeks. This is 3 road games this year that we weren't even competitive.Thats just not something we are used to.The talent disparity is really bad. There are only a few players on this current team that I would want back next year-Claude,Green ,McKnight,Swain maybe Abou but not as our main big. Nzeh only because I think he may have some upside.

When players have played together for over a year and coached for a year by the same coach , but at this point are performing worse rather the better......why would any one want the same players back??? And if the coach were to leave then we know why they gave up.

what players have played "together" for OVER A YEAR??? it's been since November that this group has played meaningful games together. that's like 4 months. that's all they've had. the summer/fall don't mean squat until you actually put that Xavier uniform on and play against other college teams.
