Actually, I'm fine that there is no TV. It's a no-win game, uninspired opposition. MOR is correct about LaSalle not being competitive.
If there was enough demand, and sponsors, the game would be televised. The facts of life are that there is still insufficient Xavier-only demand for ho hum games. If a bunch of crazed Muskies were ordering the on line service, someone would have noticed by now and the Muskies would be on the air.
I am also considering that like the team, we fans need a midseason mania rest. We need to gather our strength for the coming angst of the very difficult road schedule, A10 tournament, Selection Sunday jitters, and the NCAAs.

I guess I am different in that I would like to watch any game X plays in. When I lived in Cincinnati for those 30 years I made it to all games that I could no matter who they played. I also watched all games to the end, even blowouts, and cursed those who insisted on blocking my view by making a mass exodus at the 6 minute mark. So now that circumstances preclude my physical attendance most of the time, I do wish it was on TV. But hey, like my sig says ...CarlosTheJackal wrote:Actually, I'm fine that there is no TV. Re: LaSalle, how many tickets left?
The real question is not how many tickets are available, but how many empty seats will there be? That is a considerable difference. Is the game not even on CSTV? If that is the case, then maybe people will actually show up.flatspat wrote:400 tickets per Tom Eiser on Dow's blog.MADXSTER wrote:So back to the topic. If we want to get rid of the "mid-major" label, we should sell out the Cintas every game, regardless of the opponent. The is even more true when we are rated 15th in the country. Empty seats are an embarrassment.

A full arena, and the "this is our house" attitude and excitement that the fans bring to the game are both huge factors in getting the national media's attention. (And that's really all the debate is about: who does the national media respect and who are they willing to televise? Who are they able to make money off of by televising... If they would admit that, they wouldn't have to reach for a definition every time it comes up.)XBand01 wrote:If we want to get rid of the "mid-major" label, we should sell out the Cintas every game, regardless of the opponent. Bring a date x-band and help fill out the Cintas! So she might have to sit over by snipe ...you can trust him.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
