Creighton moved up one spot to 17th in the AP poll and down one spot to 16th in the USA Today Coaches. The Bluejays are also No. 12 (up one spot) in the updated version of the NET and No. 17 (up two spots) in the KPI.

I think X has a shot in this one if Abou can stay out of foul trouble while playing Kalkbrener physically.

They have many guys who can shoot but no one is really lighting up this season. Alexander is a baller but shooting 30% from 3. Scheierman shooting 32% from 3 at home. Recent poor defensive rebounding for X will have to be cleaned up because Creighton is going to clunk a lot of 3s.

Need to keep Scheierman in check he is a tough matchup due to his size and shooting ability. This is a night we miss Free and jerome.

This is a winnable game for X but the odds are certainly against us. Get after it on defense, value the basketball and take smart shots and good things can happen. Leave shooters wide open or allow uncontested shots at the rim and it will be a long night.

Big East home games are killer but road games are just brutual. So X will need to bring their A game to Omaha. I also think like some of you do that we have a punchers chance because I think Miller will totally out coach McDermott. I think the Creighton coach is so over rated. It will be a very good win if that happens. They have awesome talent but they jack up 3ś all night. Letś hope they are off tonight like they have been recently & we rebound. Kalkbrenner is very good and if it was me he would touch the ball everytime down the court but McDermott is not has smart as me, thankfully. LOL. Go X!!!

One last post before tip off. This game will tell us a lot about where this team is at this point in the schedule. Win or lose we will get a good idea on how much we have progressed. Go X!!!

Ashworth Hooked Quincy, which led to O pushing him back. Ashworth is the JP without the scoring. He got that bandage over his eye being a gnat in the last game sticking his head into an elbow

Note as Des was shooting 3 fouls, their coach was jawing at the official, and until the final foul of the half, which Trey drew on the charge call, all the fouls were called on X.
