No one expects the same thing from this team as last year. That was not the complaint. The complaint was the lack of growth. Averaging 13+ turnovers against mostly lower level teams doesn't instill confidence for games against good to great teams.

The good news is the team finally showed growth. Took care of the ball, made foul shots, played with energy and as a team. Some further improvement is needed but it was a huge leap from where the team was just a game ago.

I was one of the first to support the hire of Miller. I have always held the belief that he was the best coach to ever coach at Xavier and it isn't even close. That doesn't mean I'm not going to express frustration when the team essentially beats themselves in multiple games, showing no improvement from game to game. Hopefully the UC game is a launching point where losses will be because of how good the other team plays, not because Xavier decided to commit double digit unforced turnovers, missing a high percentage of 1 and 1s, failing to stop penetration and leaving people wide open on the perimeter.
