Kunkel is killing us. Has to play smarter. Quit running under three point shooters. Keep driving to the basket Have to take care of the ball down the stretch. Go X.

You called it. AND HUNTER IS THE MAN. Making FTs means winning gamesKevin Reilly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 1:15 pmU Conn is going down. . This is our game. Need a lot more from the guards. Love Hunter's Physical play. This is Xavier's day
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Hell yeah. What a game. Xavier is back. Sean Miller and the lads played their guts out. Hunter was awesome. They really battled today. Go X.

What a game by the Muskies! Had a few friends text and say they couldn't remember the Cintas being louder. Hunter is my player of the game, so many hustle plays and rebounding. He had a good Stat line but did so many of the little things necessary to beat good teams credit to Miller for the coaching and direction, but mostly to Hunter for instilling the feed back and embracing his role on this team.

20 assists on 28 scores... XBand used to say if a team has 10 made threes, they win...UConn had 13 and lost
Guts and Grit Those three losses taught them not to quit against great teams

Whoever these refs were, I hope we get them every game.
FT discrepancy was the difference.

Undefeated in the month of December. As President Thomas J. Whitmore said: "Not bad, not bad at all"

Re: UConn game thread
First game we attended in four years and it was a great one. Crowd was electric. Hunter can ball. Glad Miller stuck with him as Nunge being sick didn’t help. I assume the timeout a minute into the second half was more about buying time for Nunge to get fluids as well as cooling off UCONN after two quick threes. Great win. What a difference a coach can make. Happy New Year all.
