Looks like a team that plays man-to-man most of the time and presses on made shots. They like to try and steal the ball but also foul a lot which means Souley has a good chance of drawing fouls and getting a big score today. Big Men for X should dominate a team that KenPom rates at 305. The only chance for SL is their 3-point shooting, and they have some guys that can light it up. With X's D letting opponents shoot 39% from the three it could make this game interesting so X needs to recover from their help D... With that said X by big double digits.

Let's hope the D is better than we have seen the guys play.

Random Thoughts: Games like tonight's make me nervous because we have nothing to gain and everything to lose. Nevertheless, we should definitely win. I have been thinking of our team since the weekend and I believe we lack physicality at most positions. Particularly down low and at the wings. It is not toughness, grit, determination or heart but more of getting into people's body and fighting thru screens. I think we are soft in those regards. I also think we could do a better job on the offensive boards. I understand that is not a priority in today's game when everyone plays 4 or 5 out on offense but it should be for X. With our big's being our strength I would like to see more second chance points. When we score over 80 pts. we should not lose. Our D is a major concern. The BIg East will be a Big War. Look at Marquette's win over Baylor. UCONN & Creightom our loaded. There will be no easy wins on the road in that conference. Enough for your now your thoughts are most welcomed. GO X!!!
