Virginia Tech game thread! 11/26/21

I've always wanted to initiate one of these. Hoping Mods don't mind.
Seems the entire nation has soured on our Muskies. Vegas lines all opened up with VT an approx 3pt fave. Even worse, a couple lines have moved a point or two against us as some are now VT -4 or -5. We all know how much that means since we were even more of a fave Wed eve.
Game will be decided on on the hard court over those 90 feet. Here's to Adam K. feeling much better and all our young men ready to play D like their lives depended on it - Let's Go...!

well crap! My daughter is a Sr at X and has a friend on the XTreme Fan team. They just told her Colby and Miles defintely out tonight sick ! and Kunkle is iffy a true game time decision. No wonder the line is moving against us.... Vegas always knows

Just saw, no Jones, no Miles-- sick, Kunkle and Hunter game time decisions. While I posted my reservations, I feel sorry for Travis he might be the unluckiest coach ever.

I feel for the Xavier seniors that probably won’t get to see a Xavier NCAA tourney team while at X. I’m not sure that Steele is unlucky, but if you think so.

That is bad luck, especially re: Jones. X has to run long possessions and not jack up treys 6 seconds into the shot clock. The fact that the line is only "-5" (just looked) with three starters and the sixth man out to a team who was within two possessions of the 9th ranked team in the country is a testament of what Vegas thinks of X's talent. Nice luxury having an all All BE Freshman of The Yr" being able to fill in, though he will need a lot of WD 40 to loosen the joints.

Nunge is much better than Miles, but he cannot play 40. Hopefully Stanley doesn't chuck up a bunch of long jumpers as he has early on, and does damage 12 and in, where he is most effective. I still have faith in my Muskies to pull this one out. No more bad juju please.

I would also get Cesare some run to spell Miles. We shall see if Steele uses KyKy & Cesare a bit or tries to win with 6 players...
