My wild-@ss question
If the NCAA doesn't throw the book at Sean and UA drops him with a year left on his contract, would anybody support having come back? Yes, I know it is a crazy question. But I don't see another capable coach available who would fit in to the Xavier tradition.

Sean is a great coach. X cannot afford his current salaries. If he paid players under the table and or lied about it, then NO.

Re: My wild-@ss question
I don't care if he coached for free, and despite the fact that he was the best coach at X, the answer is no under any circumstances. He's only 1/100 as corrupt as Huggins was, but X should never use UC as its measuring stick ever.Xavier2005 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 12:33 pmSean is a great coach. Re: My wild-@ss question
Easy to answer ... absolutely not.
As I have often noted, Coach Miller lost me when it became known that Calipari was one of his friends who urged Miller to take the Arizona job. As our parents taught us, “(S)how me who your friends are, and a I’ll tell you who you are.”

Re: My wild-@ss question
too early to talk about Pat. Let him win a few in the NCAA tourney and then might take a look. Winning in his league is one thing but look at who they played this year might tell you how their record was so good. Not knocking them because they played who was scheduled but the only out of the conference games were the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Furman from the Southern Conference.
As for Miller, if these charges are true then he might not be able to be hired by any D-1 team.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Rumor has it DePaul wants Kelsey. Kelsey is a much better coach than Steele but probably couldn’t have happened.

I don’t know AH personally, however he is probably my favorite moderator. Heard it from two sources one is very connected to Pat. Would be a great hire and move Steele down one more rung in BE.
