REALLY! What next?
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Well that was not a good choice of words, but I doubt there will be any thing about it. I think it is just the times we live in now. Go Xavier!

I'd take him in a minute as a coach. He's very good.

I read in an article by CBS sports that he offered to RESIGN if the the players wanted that. He is suspended for Saturdays game with further decision to be made. I just do not see him leaving the team but in this day and age "who knows" what will happen. Go Xavier!

Creighton University announced that head coach Greg McDermott has been suspended from all team activities, including the Bluejays' regular-season finale Saturday against Butler.
Greg McDermont's response
I made a mistake and I own it. Mistakes come with consequences, and I accept and agree with the suspension.

Re: REALLY! What next?
my take is: on what he said, obviously not acceptable. should he be fired for it? i don't think so but that's not my call. either way, you will have a bunch of people who say "hey, he screwed up. he knows what he did was wrong. suspend him a few games and let him back on" and there will be some who thinks that's too much of a punishment and some who think it's not enough. ultimately will come down to what the Creighton Admin thinks they need to do. players were adamant that he not resign when he offered that option right after it.muskieman wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 11:03 amCreighton University announced that head coach Greg McDermott has been suspended from all team activities, including the Bluejays' regular-season finale Saturday against Butler.
