Re: Coaching changes
That would be a great hire. Too bad we didn’t seriously consider Kelsey vs Steele. I’m sure the situation while he was a head coach didn’t help.

Re: Coaching changes
how long ago was Manning fired? like less than a week? and Kelsey is already a "finalist"? like they've had initial interviews and whittled this down to how many?
just wondering.
this would be the time for him to go. he ain't getting the X job and he wouldn't have to move far. knows the school, knows the conference, etc.
not sure if he will get it but i hope, if he wants it and goes after it, that he DOES get it. good luck to him.

Re: Coaching changes
He was fired Friday or Saturday after 6 years at Wake. Interesting stat on his 16-18 high school recruits. He signed 12 kids, and 9 of them left. No continuity at all. However, they did win against X so hard to criticize him. Tough, tough job.

Re: Coaching changes
Wake hired Steve Forbes
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

This looks an awful lot like they had their guy before Manning was let go.
