Re: Land new transfer
My mistake. Still trying to wrap my arms around the excitement of a D2 player whose team won 5 games

They have 2 scholarships left...only 11 scholarship players on the roster right now. I expect them to use at least 1 more

Re: Land new transfer
Hankins was D2 but he was the stud on a really good team and it basically took him all non conference to get acquainted with D1 basketball. I too share Hops' doubts about a D2 player from a team which won five games. And I'm a little more skeptical after the end product from a mid major in Bryce Moore. There were accolades and I expected much more than what he gave. It's easy to expect our inside game to get abused and exposed once the BE slate starts but I hope I'm mistaken.

Re: Land new transfer
Bryce Moore had sat out last year with an injury. That usually takes time to get back in shape. But still I agree he didn’t contribute what I thought he would.MOSQUETERO wrote: ↑Thu Apr 02, 2020 4:11 amHankins was D2 but he was the stud on a really good team and it basically took him all non conference to get acquainted with D1 basketball. Re: Land new transfer
He transferred to St Joseph
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Land new transfer
Well he is back home where he wanted to be, but obviously he did not land a Big Six slot. I expect he will be a very good player for St Joe's
