If Jones remains, they better go to zone. The worst option is for him to be guarding Reed, which he has been doing. KyKy has to come in. Another reason to go to zone, and he is the worst defender at the guard position X has had in a long time.

It may have been a decoy. They needed him earlier. If he was able, he would have played. On a different note, Shannon Russell, the very good and measure beat writer for the Athletic covering X, has been tweeting all game that X just keeps complaining incessantly. maybe that is why they are getting more calls this half. It is a shame that DePaul can throw a double on and we can't find the open man

I'd have Free foul Butz as soon as they come down the court. 48% shooter from the line. If X loses, it would be fitting that another 28 foot three from Marshall was a big reason why. Unbelievable! They let 11 seconds run off the clock!
