I'm beginning to think that Steele is over his head. His lineups are terrible especially when Q and Carter provide absolutely nothing and we continue to settle for bad three's. In the huddle nothing is made of shot selection or pounding the ball inside. Scruggs is scared to handle the ball and Marshall thinks he is a PG but dribbles like a PF. This is not going to end well, again. Our veterans have disappointed once again.

Carter is a mess offensively.
he passed up an open three
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Someone should tell Spanarkel that it only appears St. John’s is getting easier shots. When they get one, they tend to make the jumper. X has missed numerous wide open shots, especially 3’s. Appearances can be deceiving.

It's amazing how one of our starting 5 always has a BAD game. Not just unproductive, but BAD. Naji's turn tonight.

Rutherford averages 4.5/game, shoots 18% from 3, and 34% overall. He is 5-5 tonight, with 14 points. Law of averages will catch up. Johnnies actually have a rebounding lead. Thankfully, Kyky is balling. Anyone shocked Marshall took a long three to end the half? If X gets back in transition in the 2nd, and cuts down the unforced t.o.s, they should win comfortably. Kyky should not come out of the game unless someone "Tonya Harding's" him.

X had success getting the ball into the middle of the court but seemed to get tired of doing it. Could have been a four-point lead had Naji not coughed up the ball on the floor on the second last possession

On Rutherford didn't they say the last few games e as been 18 and 8

I didn't hear that. They need to make him shoot off the dribble.

They're getting to the hole at will, but TS still has to always go with the 3 bigs. Always love seeing Carter dribbling the ball 25 feet from the hoop as Dunn guards him.
