Late edit:
I created this thread as a tongue-in-cheek place for those posters that get their shorts in a knot at the slightest hint of any minor problem.

Re: Gloom and Doom Corner
In the enquirer today they reported that not only KyKy has a bad ankle (maybe be out 2 weeks) but Jones has a bad KNEE and Carter has a bad back. It sounds like last year when Goodin had a separated shoulder and Naji had some injuries. Staying healthy seems to be a problem. Go Xavier!

Don't like it but does mean more playing time for the other new players

Steele seemed to suggest that both Jones and Carter are nearly back. I would guess that neither plays tomorrow, but both will be ready by next Tuesday's season opener. If Tandy is out for two weeks, that should mean worst case scenario is that he will be ready by the Missouri game.jct1941 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 8:42 amIn the enquirer today they reported that not only KyKy has a bad ankle (maybe be out 2 weeks) but Jones has a bad KNEE and Carter has a bad back. Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament, and almost always makes some noise while there. Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan (ESPN Summer Shootaround, 2012)

Sorry to tell you, this thread is ridiculous: A player has suffered an injury and will be out of action a couple of weeks.

Posters like Pierre? Sorry, I just thought I'd say it before someone else did.Shadow wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 9:30 amFYI Pierre, I created this thread as a tongue-in-cheek place for those posters that get their shorts in a knot at the slightest hint of any minor problem.Pierre Dracot wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 8:29 pmSorry to tell you, this thread is ridiculous: A player has suffered an injury and will be out of action a couple of weeks.

Seems to be a volcanic eruption of turmoil over at G-Town. Mr. Ewing, please report to the Principal’s office... goes to show just how hard it is to run a smooth yet successful program these days. Count our blessings

Starting PG James Akinjo and Sixth man Josh LeBlanc have entered the transfer portal. They averaged a combined 20 points per game.
