The one downside to these no strings attached auditions is it gets players closer to agents, foreign teams, et. al. It doesn't take much for a guy to decide to take money from whomever. The process is getting a little loose. However, i would never stand in the way of any kid in his early 20's making a 6 figure salary. Get it while it's hot.

Jones or other X players can go through the motions, but none of them are ready for the NBA IMHO. Xavier has had a ton of very good players never make it to the NBA and these guys may be among that group . The best drafted NBA players , first rounders, leave after their freshman or sophmore year. If a player stays till a junior or a senior then chances are they are never a first round pick and lucky to be a second round pick.
