X has 18 TO's so far.
Make it 19 as Marshall just traveled.
This team just sucks too much from an offensive standpoint to give away that many possessions and have any chance of winning.

Well, the good news is that this team doesn't play again until next Saturday.
And catcher's and pitcher's report on Feb 12th.

Marshall got bailed on another out of control attempt. He is a mess offensively when he needs to make acute decisions...or any. And Goodin clanks another 3. Early makes, and the banked ones last week were fool's gold.

After making first 2 then went 0-5. About right at his average of 30%.
Yep makes perfect sense that he takes the most 3 point shots on this team along with Marshall.

For now, X is alone in last place in the BE at 3 and 7.
Ken Pom projects X winning at home against DePaul and Creighton.
I wouldn't want to bet on that happening at this point.

"Guys were not ready and that's on me!!!"Coach Steele.....How come Creighton played Defense like you are supposed to and we played not so much? Never help on the ball when teams drive the paint....never oppose the 3.....Something is wrong with this team and /or this coach. I'm seeing things differently …..no sense of urgency on defense, no leadership on offense. I see a lot of deer in the headlights......the big guy with the funny name hammered us laughing all the way....I hope we retaliate at X.

We are in serious need of a true point guard. I'm talking somebody look like Lavender, Chalmers, Holloway.Scruggs is not really a point guard . I think Q is like Andy Dalton. He's good if you surround him with good players like he had the last 2 years. Hope Ky Ky and Bishop step in and fill that role next year.

Not that it would have won the game but why only 4 min for Welage. He did get bullied by Krampl and did make a turnover. The quality of his shots is higher than some of the other players and it does help space the floor

Harden with 20 min and Kennedy 11. Maybe Steele is letting them prove whether they can do it or not. Maybe more min to keep them from leaving. That’s what many of us here are asking for. If they get minutes, Welage may lose some.

I'm not sure we're missing anything by cutting Welage's minutes.I'd like to see what Kennedy and Harden can do although rumors are they won't be back next year anyway.This team is a mess.My only criticism of Steele is I don't think he's been able to coach these guys up.We aren't any better today than we were November 1.

How about this …..Its obvious we are challenged to play offense and score, just see our stats. However, why not turn into a defensive nightmare for opponents? "40 minutes of hell comes to mind " Nolan Richardson Arkansas coach. We continue to play the same way with the same people and get the same results. Try something else!!!! Creighton did it to us yesterday. They got to every 50/50 ball, they invaded the paint with 3-4 guys everytime we entered. Their coach said after that they won with Defense...…..I would really like hearing that one day from a Xavier coach....Go X
