While I agree that the roster isn’t ideal, I don’t think an influx of freshman will make that much of a difference. What troubles me as a fan/supporter of this team is the same mistakes are made game after game. I’m not seeing improvement in any area and twelve games in I don’t think things are going to change. X isn’t in the A-10, or the MCC anymore. It’s big boy basketball. I want/hope success for Travis, but I think a close watch needs to be kept on the program.

Is this the worst 3 point shooting team in Xavier history?

Over the past 18 years only Mack's 2nd team was worse than this team from a % standpoint
That team has Tu, Lyons and Dante shooting the majority of the 3's
This team has a couple of good shooters but we got the wrong guys shooting the 3's

Thanks! Appears that ‘10-‘11 Team only averaged 16.4 three point attempts per game. This squad hoisting up 22.2 ugly threes per game.

And that team had Tu getting to the line 270 times and shooting 87%.
Again the only 3 guys that should shoot a 3 are Scruggs Welage and Hardin. And Hardin is now officially MIA.

Tillman has fouled out of 3 games this year
But only has 1 foul at the half
Seems like that should have been the plan to try and draw fouls on him

Agree that the roster is not ideal but have to play to the strengths of your personnel
Q has to be distributor first. He is a terrible shooter.
Need to get for the bigs and set up Welage and Scruggs for outside shots with Marshall with an occasional drive to the basket
Like you said I don't see any improvements thus far. Still have 20 games left but not looking good

Exchanging a two for a couple threes has not helped. Are Hardin and James that bad?

The only 3 guys that should shoot a 3 are Welage, Scruggs and Hardin - Period
But Marshall and others continue to chuck up 3's
This is certainly the worst 3 point shooting team in recent history

Agreed, but you need a guy who calls the shots have a pair made of steel, not jello.

In addition to being bad at shooting 3's the FT shooting is also one of the worst in recent history
