Xavier's "best defensive team ever" looking like it's going to be the best 2-3 zone team ever as they look much better when playing that than they do when playing man to man.
they just can't keep anyone in front of them when playing man. they're length makes that zone somewhat difficult and if they play it correctly, if can be effective.
i'm guessing we are going to see lot more of that as the season goes on.

Their 2-3 and 1-3-1 may make them better in games. If they become more effective in morphing their D's through the game it may keep teams off balanced as long as they remember to rebound.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
