I think most football and or basketball players commit due to the coach and maybe the success of the program...not because of the school itself.

Brian Snow already clarified that the kid reached out to the coach, not the other way around. And that the kid simply asked if there was still interest in him if the staff left X, to which he was told they would be interested no matter where they were coaching.

"Take all the assistants with him"???? It may be an option as part of the offer ... but ... Steele is ready for a decent head coaching job (Maybe even at X). Murray and Pegues could also be strong candidates for head coaching jobs.

Actually, the thought through my mind is that Chris would take L'ville only if he thought Travis would end up at X or another top job. Just a thought but Chris has been fortunate to have dedicated assistants. I don't know the details, but I think he renewed his own contract with some stipulations for raises for the assistants as well. Anyone know for sure?

Snow probably talked to the coach and what else could the coach say. Keep in mind that snow and mack are best of friends. I would value the report of the wave-tv guide who has no skin in the game. Someone needs to interview the kid's parents.

Good riddance. Make a decision and move on. This has been going on for a month and Mack is acting like it just came about to save his image. Hopefully Steele gets the job and he is not a fan of Kid Rock.
