Mark Schmidt?? Please please please, NO.

Miller!? He is still employed by Arizona, you know, the team he left us for because they paid him a lot more money.

Matta - You people do realize that his departure from OSU was for health reasons, right? He won't coach again.

Kelsey - Please please please, NO.

If Mack does leave, my only frustration will be with how long this process has taken. We have missed out on Crean and now Hurley. I may sound like the delusional guy who mentioned getting Miller back but what about Bobby Hurley at ASU? Yes, weather is much better but basketball is not king there. His goal is to ultimately replace Coach K at Duke. I think coaching at Xavier in the Big East will prepare him better than ASU. Then, when K does retire, lets hope they choose Brad Stevens

Crean, a failure at IU? No, no, no; Hurley, whose lifetime average at URI was 18-13? No, no, no. Not sure who X should get but now it seems like more no's than yesses.

If you take out Crean's first 3 seasons at IU, when he was dealing with severe sanctions; he went 138-69 at IU. He routinely got 5 star recruits and put 3 lottery picks in the NBA (Gordon, Zeller, Oladipo).

There's a good chance Mack will face similar sanctions at Louisville... will they be as patient as IU?

Sports talk show in No. Carolina spent a long time talking about X program.

Most conversation was on how X has not fired a coach in over 30 years. All of our coaches have been successful. What that tells me is nationwide X is considered a unique place. It is its culture and philosophy that makes it successful. With that said,do not be surprised at some of the coaches that may express interest

I would think that we only choose an already very successful Division 1 head coach.

For some reason and others may know better, I had heard X has no interest in Steele taking over the program if Mack goes. Seems strange to me but have heard now on several fronts that he would go with Mack to Louisville.

Cant trust Matta. Butler for one year (butler grad I might add) then to X. X for three years then to OSU. Only reason he is interested is because potentially best job out there. if he is successful again, he would leave again. No re-treads like Matta please.
