In millions per a recent article .....Coach K Duke $7.3 , Calipari Kentucky $6.8 , Miller Arizona $4.9 , Self Kansas $4.9 , Izzo Michigan State $4.1 , Huggins West Va $4.1, Crean when at Indiana $4.1 , a few 3 s and a lot of $2 to $2.9s........If if CM gets $3 to $4 mil plus he would be in the top 5 or top 10 coaches in salary....

Some coaches are paid for what they accomplished ..some examples. Calipari has a 75% game win record, six Final Fours, but only ONE National Title...so he gets paid a lot for one national title ????? Coach K of Duke wins 80% of his games, nine Final Fours and 5 National Titles so he wins over 50% of the time when he gets to the FF....Coach K has a wow wow record overall.

Mack has done very well for X but how big a raise does he truly deserve. X would be paying him for 3 S-16s and one Elite 8. His trajectory is good right now but in the last three years he underperformed in tourney twice and overachieved last year. Prior to that, his regular season in BE has been a little above average which led to overachieving by getting the S-16s. So realistically, he is allegedly being offered this huge increase because he is being plucked away by Louisville. Don't get me wrong, i hope he stays but if he moves on, X will be fine. My only hope is that Steele is the guy and not Matta or Kelsey.

Hurley at Rhode Island went to UConn from $1 million a yr at RI to $3 million a yr at UConn...triple. Hurley at Arizona State got a $700,000 increase plus other ...benefits.... Xavier's deal has to be a lot to match what others get...but I am sure it cannot match Louisville's offer.

No Matta or Kelsey. My preference, not knowing who else is available, but simply going off of logical assumptions, is Steele.....End of list.
