TO's - 18 for X and 14 for FSU
And lastly, all year X was unable to stop the dribble drive penetration of guards and it killed X again tonight.
28 years and zero Final 4's.

2nd straight game where Goodin showed a complete lack of awareness of the game situation. Down by 3 against Providence, he dribbles inside the two and passes to Kantner a second late. This game, down by 3 with 27 seconds, he leisurely dribbled up, and it was obvious that it was going to be a 3. That was obviously called from the bench, which I think was a mistake, but he should have still dribbled down with pace. Score a quick two, and make a suspect free throw shooting team beat you from the line. The second straight game where a double-digit lead to a dog is blown in the 2nd half.

Wasted opportunity, and the second time in three years X is a very early exit as a high seed.

18-4 run? National Champions don’t allow that to happen. But, this team has blown leads all year and at the end of the season it burned them. All year they’ve been frustrating to watch. Offensive droughts, blown leads. This wasn’t a Final Four team. I knew that when they lost by 24 and then 16 to Nova. 29-7 great record, frustrating year. Just not their year...again.

Missed way too many Fts. Bluiett sucked in about every way possible. Several questionable fouls against Macura. Team played with a lot of
heart & overall D was good. Why did we foul, down 1, with 8 left on the shot clock & about 20+ on the game clock. The timeout discussion probably said don't foul. Maybe it was the Cincinnati jinx which I experienced in the late 90s at Pontiac Stadium where UC lost to Iowa St & XU lost to UCLA in back to back games. Last years team barely made the Tourney and without a BE Tourney win vs Butler, we probably don't make it. We all know that very mediocre team gets to the Elite 8. The play to Kanter at the end was a reasonable call, but if ever there was a time to call Bluiett's number...

I never had a good feeling for this game. It stems from the first game. Number 1 seeds don’t let number 16 seeds go on a 16-0 run.
