As I have said a billion times, Gates is our key. When he is hot, ain't nobody able to hang with our offensive firepower. Welcome back KG!
Now, not sure if mentioned on TV or radio but big skirmish after gm in handshake line. T Jones and a Johnnie had to be separated. Mack was shoving O'Mara and team and yelling to get to locker room. Hopefully no one expelled from tomorrow's game. It was intense for several seconds.

no punches thrown so no penalities for tomorrow. Had SJU shown that kind of fight in the game it might have been different. I think Ahmed took exception to the last three dunks...especially the last one.

Great win! Hopefully this will set the tone for the tourney. The one thing about this team throughout the season is that they found a way to win. Plenty of close games. And that, I think will help in the tourney. But, a win like this is a confidence builder. Go X! And keep going!

X hasn't been a great defensive team this year but today they were very good. Marshall, Goodin, Scruggs, and Gates are all strong defenders and locked down Ponds

THAT was as complete a game as X has played in some time. Good defense throughout the game and an offensive explosion in the 2nd half. Dominated in virtually every statistic.

Just keep winning!

As they passed each other in the post “handshake line” ( a senseless, insincere PC gesture) It started when Ahmed had contrary words for Jones who continued on his way to the locker room while returning “pleasantries.” All that sore losers have left is their mouths. Much to do about nothing.
SM’s last dunk in the final seconds is excusable because when the proper & necessary mindset for the whole game, in fact all games for that matter, is to be offensively aggressive it is unrealistic to think that there is a failsafe switch that completely turn it off with a snap. Hurt feelings happen when a team loses. Let’s not be on the receiving end.
