im Not sure if it’s defense or if it’s the lack of killer instinct. Every time X gets a big lead against a decent team they play tentative. Play aggressive on defense like they did against Butler at the end of the game at home. They have to learn to step on their opponents throat and not let up. They’ve had that problem in past seasons. The difference in this years team from years past is poise on offense. They don’t panic. They rely on each other. And they play together.

X is alone is 1st place in the BE - certainly the 1st time this late in the season.
Let's deliver a Mike Tyson knock out punch on Saturday.

X's PG's - Q and Scruggs - combine for 6 assists and 2 TO's. I think that is a ratio that madness31 might even approve of.
And they continue their hot shooting from 3 - going 3 for 6.

Kanter - not a good match up and went 0-3 from 3
Kaiser also went 0-3 from 3.
He is now 3 for 23 in his last 6 games from 3.
He is obviously a better shooter than that.
Needs to snap out of his slump though.

Did Kanter or Gates get a fg?

No. KG did make a couple of FT's late in the game.
Combined 0-8 from the floor
